Exam Lights

The installation of the seventeen exam room light supports was a major work effort during the week of April 17 - 21, 2006. Because of its importance to the schedule we had 9 men working on this installation. The lights only weight 47 lbs. each but by the size of the supports you would think that they weighted hundreds of pounds. The design and support system for these lights was provided late in the project’s schedule and they had to be designed to miss all the ductwork and piping that was already installed. You will see from the pictures that the steel framing is different for each light. These light supports were very important to the schedule because the ceiling framing and drywall could not be completed until after the supports were installed.
